Are You looking for a Bloodhound? A few questions You need to ask your self before you Buy!

Do You have time to train A Bloodhound, Yes they are very smart and learn well, But the are also very stubborn and will what they want when they want they will push your buttons, but there so cute and funny its hard to resist and give in. One thing with a bloodhound is you always Need to be the alpha dog you are the boss!

Do you have a Fenced Yard? Bloodhounds DO use there Noses and will wonder the nose leads the way.  We try and make sure Our SAR dogs go into SAR homes. Not all bloodhounds have the SAR drive not all bloodhounds have the show ability even though they do not have the drive they still can track and will A fenced Yard is a MUST!

Before you buy make sure you are in contact with several breeders, most will slam another thats the name of the game.  But in Honesty and reality you need to ignore what people say and go with you heart and gut on buying a bloodhound your breeder should tell you the horror stories of all a bloodhound can do "why" because if they do it you are prepared for it so don't be alarmed, Don't get me wrong I love my dogs and I will always own Them Or be owned by them. Your breeder should answer all questions you ask Also some info you must Know alot of breeders will tell you they have never had any health issues they will tell you they DO NOT OFA because you can not put a bloodhound under and its just not true, I OFA  and never had a problem with the sedation.  Also if your breeder say they don't check for hip probelms I wouldn't personally go with that breeder Cost of hip replacement on your dog is aprox 2500.00 per hip! and your attached there like your kids.
